We are giving you all the summer holidays to organise your team. Teams for orienteering must have at least one adult and one child, all siblings are invited and combined family team will be allowed.
The two dragon boats we have booked hold 11 each. The intention is after some practice to hold races this activity will start at 1300 and last for 90 minutes.
Why not bring a picnic and come for the day, walk the nature trail then get stuck into the activities.
The cost will be £5 per family.
Since going to Sale Water Park and checking things out we have discovered that only children 8 and over are allowed on the lake. Therefore unfortunately no Beavers will be allowed in the Dragon Boats, we are looking for another activity for the Beavers to do.
The Event!
Scouts you missed out on a good day, even the good weather that was booked apeared.
12Families took part, and we had a great time. It was a pitty that the Beavers were not allowed on the Lake, but rules are rules.
The Orienteering
7 Families took part one from the Beavers and the rest from the Cub,
The Boltons won in 35 minutes closley followed by theMcDonalds in 37 minutes. All families completed the course successfully.
